Nafees Sweets Centre – Digitizing the Sweet & Restaurant Experience in Manchester

Project Overview:

Nafees Sweets Centre, a renowned restaurant in Manchester famous for its authentic traditional food, sought to enhance its online presence and improve customer experience by digitizing its services. I was tasked with creating a modern website that not only showcased their menu but also supported various integrations, such as EPOS systems and third-party food delivery platforms. In addition to the website development, I assisted with social media management to boost their online visibility.

Key Features Implemented:

  1. Custom Website Design: I developed a vibrant and visually appealing website that reflects Nafees Sweets Centre’s unique offerings. The website is designed to be easy to navigate, allowing customers to quickly explore the full menu, special offers, and other services.
  2. Food Menu with QR Code Integration: To modernize the in-store dining experience, I created a digital version of the food menu that can be accessed via a QR code. When customers visit the store, they can scan the code with their phones to instantly view the menu, eliminating the need for physical menus and making updates easier.
  3. EPOS System Integration: I integrated Nafees Sweets Centre’s website with their existing EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) system, allowing seamless management of orders, inventory, and transactions. The EPOS system ensures that all online and in-store orders are synchronized, simplifying the restaurant’s operations.
  4. Third-Party Delivery Integration: To expand their reach, I integrated Uber Eats and Deliveroo directly into the website. This allows customers to place delivery orders from Nafees Sweets Centre’s website, ensuring a smooth experience while increasing their presence on popular delivery platforms.
  5. Social Media Management: In addition to the technical aspects of the website, I assisted Nafees Sweets Centre in managing their social media presence.
